An Inch Or A Mile: Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone
May 27th, 2011 by Faith
Last night I was one of 3 organizers on the NAPO-DFW’s “Ask The Organizer” panel. I’m considered an extroverted introvert, so participating on the panel was definitely out of my comfort zone. At times it was exhilirating and other times downright scary. Moments of “How the heck did I get up here????” to “Wow, I’m up here!” Stepping out of my confort zone resulted in an increased excitement about organizing, learning even better ways of helping our customers and expanding our support network to serve you better.
So where is your comfort zone? How far are you willing to step out of it? Regarding organizing, what is the next step to getting you closer to where you want to be? What support network would make it easier to take that step? A professional organizer? A handyman? A part time personal assistant? Perhaps we can help you make that next step more exhilerating than scary. Just a thought.
Be it an inch or a mile, be brave and take the step. It will be worth it.
